Are you interested in languages and international cultures? Looking to get hands-on experience in translation? Milengo offers you the opportunity to put your language skills to use and become a professional freelance translator. You will receive thorough training, feedback and support from our international team of senior translators and project managers.
Your Tasks:
Translate product description for beauty products for one of Europe’s leading ecommerce companies from Swedish into Finnish
Learn the fundamentals of professional translation
Learn computer-aided translation tools to help make your work much easier
Learn how to work with terminology databases
Communicate with our project managers on questions and project status updates
Your Profile:
Finnish native-speaker with excellent writing skills and error-free spelling and punctuation
Fluent in Swedish
Availability 15+ hours per week for a period of approx. 2 months (Aug-Sept 2015)
Good command of English language (as our internal communication and all training will be in English)
Own PC/Mac with stable internet access (translation tools are online)
Previous translation experience is a plus but not a requirement
Precise and dedicated approach to your work
